Who is Peyton Hillis?
Peyton Derek Hillis (born January 21, 1986) is a former American football running back who played in the NFL.
Hillis was a highly regarded recruit who attended Conway High School in Conway, Arkansas. Hillis studied at the University of Arkansas, where he mainly played fullback.

Hillis moved up the depth chart to become the Denver Broncos’ starting fullback after being selected in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
He was made the starter running back due to injuries to the other running backs. Hillis was dealt to the Cleveland Browns in 2010 after spending the previous two years in Denver. Hillis won a national poll in 2011 and was featured on the Madden NFL 12 video game cover by EA Sports.

Peyton was born on January 21, 1986, to Carrie Hillis and Doug Hillis in Conway, Arkansas. His parents gave him the name Walter Payton in honor of Walter Payton, a hall of fame running back for the Chicago Bears, according to Bleacher Report.
Peyton attended Conway High School while living in Arkansas with his parents. He put on a lot of weight during his time in high school, and his father believed that if he decided to play football, he would make a good lineman.
Peyton’s parents encouraged him throughout his athletic career because he was very interested in baseball and football in high school. Peyton represented the Conway Wampus Cats in both football and baseball. Back then, Peyton was a superb third baseman.
